Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 February 2026
These Terms apply to your use of Alevian Health services, including Odenta (for patients) and DAN (for dental practices). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.
What the service is (and isn't)
Odenta helps patients request an emergency dental appointment and allows participating dental practices to offer available appointment slots via DAN.
We do not provide clinical advice or treatment. Treatment decisions and clinical responsibility remain with the dental practice and clinician providing care.
If you have severe symptoms or believe you need urgent medical attention, call 999 or seek emergency medical help.
Eligibility and accuracy
You must provide accurate information when using Odenta. You must not use the service to submit misleading, fraudulent, or abusive requests.
Booking fee
Odenta may charge an Odenta booking fee to confirm an appointment offered by a dental practice. The applicable fee will be shown before payment and may vary depending on the service requested. This is paid to Alevian Health Ltd for finding, securing and confirming your appointment through Odenta and is not a treatment fee. If the patient attends, the practice applies an equivalent booking-fee credit against its consultation or appointment charge. Treatment fees are set by the dental practice and paid separately to the practice.
Refunds and cancellations
Once Odenta confirms the appointment and makes the practice details available, the dental practice manages the appointment operationally. Patients should contact the practice directly if they need to cancel, request a different appointment time, say they are running late or ask questions about attending.
The Odenta booking fee will not be refunded if the patient cancels, does not attend, arrives too late to be seen or decides not to proceed. Separate refund exceptions apply if the practice or Odenta cannot provide the confirmed booking, a payment error occurs or statutory rights apply.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or a refund exception applies, contact us at info@alevianhealth.com with any reference details you have. The current booking-fee policy is available at /legal/booking-fee-policy.
Availability and no guarantees
We aim to help match patients to participating practices, but we do not guarantee that a practice will be available, that an appointment will be offered, or that a particular outcome will occur.
Practice participation (DAN)
Dental practices using DAN are responsible for ensuring they are appropriately regulated, insured, and able to provide the services they offer. Practices control their availability and capacity within DAN.
